Visitors looking for a quick and chic way out of the New York City area are in for a treat. Flying in its opulent Mint class, JetBlue, the hometown airline, now offers free helicopter trips between the airport and downtown.
Since 2022, JetBlue and BLADE Urban Air Mobility have partnered to provide helicopter transfers at a reduced or occasionally free rate. Although TrueBlue members who have Mosaic 4 level are previously eligible for four free transfers per year, this promotion is now available to all customers travelling on Mint routes who have a cash ticket.
Flights to and from nearby New Jersey's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) are eligible for this promotion. Flights must be scheduled by Wednesday, February 21st, and taken by Friday, March 8th, in order to be eligible for the promotion.
Additionally, flights have to coincide with BLADE Airport's operational hours, as free transfers are only offered from Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 20:00.
It's simple to reserve the free transportation. You will receive an email with instructions on how to book your BLADE Airport helicopter transportation at least 48 hours in advance after reserving your Mint flight.
